This is the ultimate comfort food! It is filled with noodles and beef, and has a ton of flavor. It is also very easy and quick to make. This is a recipe that we have a lot in the winter, and it is always a favorite of anyone who tries it.

Beef and Noodle Casserole

  • 6 oz egg noodles

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1 small onion, chopped

  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce

  • 1/3 cup water

  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Boil noodles according to package directions.

  2. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and brown the ground beef with the onion, garlic, oregano and salt. Stir in the water, tomato sauce, and cooked noodles. Pour into casserole dish and top with shredded cheese.

  3. Bake 20 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
