Everyone loves brats on the grill, but have you tried lamb brats? There is nothing like it. They are so flavorful, and the texture melts in your mouth. Of the different meats we raise, lamb is definitely our top choice for brats.
Grilling brats doesn’t really require a recipe. It does however require family and friends to enjoy them with and maybe a cold beer.
We have experimented with different toppings over the years, and we all have our favorites. While you can’t go wrong with a traditional mustard, onion, and sauerkraut brat, be sure to try some of these others!
• ketchup, mustard, relish, chopped bacon
• chili, shredded cheese, onions
• coleslaw (trust us, it’s great!)
• Stone Ground Mustard, grilled onions
• nacho cheese sauce, jalapeños, diced tomatoes
• feta cheese, diced onion, diced tomatoes, Tzatziki sauce, chopped dill
• grilled onions, grilled peppers, Italian tomato sauce
And…two of my kids swear that they are best with homemade Mac and cheese piled on top. I can’t verify that this is true, but really, how bad could that be?
