This is a fun recipe for our kids to help with, and they often make this on Saturday mornings. They get creative with the toppings, and the best part is that everyone can pick the toppings that they want! We make this using our pancake recipe, but it could also be easily made using a commercial pancake mix. We recommend serving every piece with pure Ohio Maple Syrup!
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3 ½ teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon white sugar
3 tablespoons butter, melted and cooled slightly to avoid cooking the egg
1 egg
1 ¼ cups milk
Spray a half sheet pan with cooking spray. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Mix the dry ingredients and set aside. Combine the wet ingredients in a bowl. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just incorporated. Pour into the prepared sheet pan and top with any toppings. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes. Cut into squares and serve with maple syrup.
Mix-in and Topping Ideas:

• Apples (diced apples tossed with cinnamon and then mixed into the pancake batter)
