We raise pigs here on the farm for meat, but our kids would probably tell you that they are here for them to play with. They absolutely love the pigs, and most days you will find the kids sneaking marshmallows to them. The pigs’ area is connected to our 4H barn behind the house, and we typically have between 10 and 15 pigs at a time. They have access to open pasture and dirt areas and are fed a hog ration until they reach market size. We have most cuts of pork available for purchase at all times.
